Katun launches Arivia multifunction printers in Europe with innovative Virtual Reality showroom

First sales achieved after a successful launch and virtual demonstrations

Tiel, Netherlands – January 7, 2025 – Katun Corporation (Katun), a leading global provider of OEM-compatible imaging consumables for use in printers, copiers and multifunction printers (MFPs), is pleased to announce the successful launch of its Arivia multifunction devices. The launch was supported by an innovative Virtual Reality Room, which enabled the company to make its first sales of the new product line.

Mixed Reality Room is a 3D virtual showroom developed in collaboration with ABM Answered ’s Mixed Reality Rooms interactive marketing group . This unique tool allows potential partners to interact with Katun sales representatives, learn about the company, and explore the Arivia product range in depth, from wherever they are.

From November 18 to December 9, 2024, 113 people participated in 15 VR Room access sessions across Europe. Each session was tailored to the specific needs of the attendees, with Katun sales representatives welcoming each group in their local language, answering specific questions and providing detailed product information.

Jon Palin from Elmdale Maintenance Limited shared his experience as an attendee: “The VR presentation was a fascinating and unique way to explore the new range of equipment that Katun was promoting. The AR experience allowed me to explore the products and interact with the equipment remotely. It was a great way to delve deeper into the product features and specifications.”
